We have a fantastic opportunity to join the leadership team of one of Scotland’s oldest community housing associations. We are a friendly, forward-thinking organization where innovation, flexibility and positive communication are embraced. Our goal is quality of service and helping others.
We are looking for a dynamic, forward-looking individual who has excellent leadership and management skills and a proven track record of delivering excellent customer service in a challenging environment.
We are a charity-controlled housing association that owns and manages approximately 2,250 low-cost, 250 mid-rent and through our
factoring company SFARS, we provide factoring service to another 1,000 owners. We also have an extensive development program to build new homes.
This new role will be critically important to support and complement the leadership and operational management of our teams, strategies and policies. The role will be
challenging and rewarding with responsibility for our housing management services, including an established community initiatives team, our fixed and mobile concierge service, and our successful social rights and financial advice team who offer a range of services in the areas of social counselling, debt and money management and maintaining tenancy.
In today’s environment, the ability to work in a changing environment with competing pressures is required and the successful candidate will be an inspirational leader who encourages teams to have a “can do” attitude and a desire to learn from new things while ensuring that our customers receive the best possible service. The ability to lead and manage projects will be an advantage, as will a good understanding of computer systems, particularly in terms of housing management systems.
With a new system being implemented in the Association alongside other IT developments, the ability to integrate our new way of working into a process-oriented approach will be critical to our success.
The successful candidate will hold a valid driver’s license and have access to their own vehicle for work.
